Julia Sang Nguyen (b. August, 1993) is an editorial and portrait photographer based in Hamburg. She studied communication design at State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart and places her main focus on photography. Julia Sang is interested in actions and narratives that hold society together in uncertain times.
She won the first price of the Vogue Germany Photo Contest (July 2018), has been featured in the magazine since then and was shortlisted for Belfast Photo Festival 2022. Group exhibitions have taken place at Museum Casa Masaccio, San Giovanni Valdarno, Italy (Dez 2015) and VOGUE Salon, Berlin (July 2018). Her photo essay for STIRLING Magazine was exhibited at The Staatsgalerie, Stuttgart (2021).
